Here comes baseball season!

Nothing excites me more than little league season

     My oldest son has been playing ball (unofficially) since he was born... From the minute he could control his hands, he could throw a ball... AND HARD! He had great aim and that made momma happy, being the softball star I am (cough cough) .... Short softball career as a child, you know... 

He has played every season since T-ball at age 5, and it's his passion. He's a natural, he's good, and darn-it it makes me so proud of him! 

     Now I don't know if this little one will share the same love for baseball that we do, but for now he WILL be forced into it. Until he has his own say... I only hope he's passionate about SOMETHING like his big brother is about baseball..

Anywho my littlest booger is now 4 months old... Happy big 4 buddy!

For some reason all I can think of with this session is that movie Angels In The Outfield  ....

And I want to make a shout out to a couple mommies I know who have recently lost their baby girls. They have gone through more than I could ever imagine having to go through, and my love and well wishes are with them as they journey into the rest of their lives. I may complain about 2a.m. feedings or the chaos my life brings with having 4 children, but I am SO grateful for every single moment I have with them... I squeeze MY babies extra every single day,  knowing that I am lucky to be able to kiss those sweet cheeks at the end of every night... I love you girls...

Spring Forward

I LOVE when the seasons change. 

     I'm just that kind of person who needs a change every once in awhile... When fall is ending and winter beginning, I love the nights getting earlier and cozying up with a cup of hot chocolate, my kiddos, and a Christmas movie... Winter is long... and cold... and by this time I welcome this spring forward business like my life depended on it... Well, as far as I'm concerned, mine does. I need that change of pace... I'm ready for later evenings, green grass, and warmer weather! 

     Bright and sunny days are ahead! My new little Chicky is 3 months old this week... And is sporting his cute spring outfit. Do you know how much fun it is dressing up a little boy after 2 girls? This mom LOVES it!

Welcome Paisley

On a dreary winter day, I got a text message that made me cry... 

      Normally when you hear a baby is about to be born you are happy and overjoyed with excitement! As exited as I was I couldn't handle the sheer jealousy my own hormonal pregnant self was having... and I cried... I was ready for MY turn... I texted my mister letting him know what was happening as if it were an issue that needed to be listened to right then and there.. . After all I was balling my eyes out...

"You will have that baby any day now"... (that doesn't comfort a 39 week pregnant woman... let me tell you)

Anywho.... When I saw the sweet face of Miss Paisley my tears were gone and I was so happy for this little family... birth and babies gives me chills just thinking about all the magic that happens... She was just perfect and looked just like her beautiful sisters.... (Oh, I ended up having MY turn a week later... so much for that meltdown)

Meet Miss Paisley...  She's now cooing and smiling and has those eyes for her momma... I can't wait to get all them together!

Celebrating the big 2!

2 Months that is...

     February 8... This tiny human is in size 2 diapers, giving mom and dad all kinds of smiles, and growing way too fast! I don't know what the rule is about kids growing up so fast, but I swear it happens faster and faster every time... I blinked and my newborn is generating his own little personality right before my eyes... Before I know it he will be 16, and his older brother will be... GASP... (sad face) TWENTY-SEVEN. I just gulped really hard... As this baby starts driving, my first baby could possibly getting married, or having my grandchildren... Sweet mother of cake I need to stop ... Anywho... I WILL sit and enjoy each and every kiss I force upon these sweet cheeks while I still can ;)

Getting back into the swing of things

WHEW! Where have the last few months gone?

      Being very pregnant then coming home with a new baby and a household of 6 is something, let me tell you... It's one big blur of crazy love, and some days I wish I were on a sandy beach with a margarita in hand... but for now I'll take these crazy days.  It's been a slow go at getting back into a routine, with Dr. appointments, dentist appointments, school functions, Christmas, work, you name it.. Throw a little surgery and a flu in to top it all off and we're set... ( I told you, it's been crazy) ;)

     There hasn't been much in the way of shooting around here, besides gazillions of shots of this new baby squish and his brothers and sisters... My camera is glued to them 24/7. The good thing about this tiny human though, is that he can't run away from me yet... Nor scowl at the lens when it points his direction.. It's pure ecstasy ...
