The tough part, however; is trying to figure out something that's easy for the teacher to distribute and something quick for you to put together.. .Healthy is not exactly quick and convenient. I came up with this idea after seeing these little veggie cups on Pinterest, and I think it's sort of genius if you ask me. They are healthy, individual and easy for the teacher ( because I can't always be in the classroom to help, this is my way of helping) haha, and fun!
First you get your cups all set out, veggies cut and washed, and distribute them evenly between them. easy peasy...
Then With these bags, or similar, take a cup and stick into the bottom of the bag, twist the top, tie off with twistie tie, and cut the top excess of the bag off to make it even! These bags are ridiculously cheap, not even $2 at my Walmart, and I only used 20 or so, so I have a ton left over for other projects.
Then if you want you can print out these cute Turkey Snack labels and paste to each cup to be festive =)
I printed them on a shipping label paper so they were sticky, but you can also print them off on card stock or something similar and punch a hole through the corner, then tie to the top with ribbon. Either way, they will be all dressed up for your party!
And Viola`! This took me a little over 30 minutes from start to finish and my daughter will be so proud of her Turkey snacks at school tomorrow! I am also sending a bottle of ranch for the teacher to add to their cups if they wish to dip!
You can download this FREE Turkey Snacks template here. Just right click and save to your computer. Print it on an 8x11 size piece of paper or shipping label sheet!
